"In a couple hours," Tony cut in, and the eagerness of it turned his eyes away; he really wasn't that pathetic. It was just -- after he finished getting his possessions back into order, he didn't want to handle any crushing loneliness. And it wasn't like if he didn't keep an eye on Steve the guy would disappear, right? That was stupid. That was stupid to feel. Eye on him or not, if it wanted, the city would take him regardless. "I just need a few hours," Tony explained, and shrugged, going for nonchalant. "Two. Maybe three."
